Hayley Thornton

Inspired by theatre at a young age, Hayley started her training at Harlow College where she undertook a National Diploma in Performing Arts, excelling in the course and graduating with a Triple Distinction National Diploma. Following this, Hayley went on to study at Staffordshire University on the Drama UK recognised Drama, Performance and Theatre Arts course, graduating in 2013 with a 2:1 BA Hons Degree.

Whilst at University, Hayley had the opportunity to undertake a wide variety of roles including – Alison in Look Back in Anger, Helga in Kindertransport, Annie in Hard Feelings, Wendla in Spring Awakening and Hamlet in Hamlet.

After graduating University, in October 2013, Hayley performed in the acclaimed premiere production of Blood+Chocolate, written by award winning playwright Mike Kenny and produced by York Theatre Royal, Pilot Theatre and Slung Low. Jump forward three years and Hayley’s latest exploit in the acting world was as part of Leicester’s theatre festival 14:48 The World’s Quickest Theatre Festival.
